Life as we know it no longer exists. The world has been overrun by hordes of undead and demons, leaving humanity to take refuge in underground shelters. In order to reclaim what was once theirs, humanity formed specialized teams known as Project Rest in Pieces, or R.I.P.

But simply killing the undying was not enough. Humanity developed advanced AI technology, known as "R.I.P.", to control and enhance these specialized forces from headquarters.
